I mean, aggressive tv commercials for some of these games would have meant far better sales for ALL there games. Ratchets, Sly Coopers, LBP's, & such kid friendly titles should have been played non-stop during early morning & Sat-Sun kids shows & cartoons, & games like Starhawk, Twisted Metal, Resistance 2&3, MS:Apocalypse, Socom 4, & others should have been slotted into tv programs that were time appropriate & content appropriate.....& what I mean by that...
It wouldn't have mattered if the game was scoring 9's across the board......the game was always destined for commercial failure for just too many reasons to list.

Yes redcar, that is because developers are unable to update the lag there games suffer on Live, as it is MS's system, so the lag stays in the Xbox versions, whereas, the PS3 versions have these things fixed......

Insomniac have been slipping over the last few title, but the last 3 Ratchets have under delivered. They need to sell out to Sony & go back to basics & what made them so great with the PS2 Ratchet games, as well as the highlight of the series in A Crack In Time.

Oh, and a Australian launch price of around $649 for smaller HDD version, & $749 for deluxe, bigger hdd version would be smart & fairer of Sony, than that $999au that PS3 launched here for.
At least, when I've handed over my $749, I can buy 2 launch games & still be $50 richer than I was when PS3 launched.....although, I'd be more in front of that, as I bought 3 games at PS3 launch, so it ran me up to $1,200-$1,300.

And Xbox fanboys constantly harp on about how much better Live is for online gaming, yet, Resistance 1 has the most lagless online infrastructure of any game this gen on consoles, & sports 40 players online....then the sequel had 60 player online, 360 hasn't had a 40, let alone 60 player online game yet, as they know, it's not possible on 360.
The multiplayer is horrible....just very choppy & messy, when compared to Unchartered 2 or 3, or Max Payne 3.
Single player game is pretty sweet though.
Not only this fact that Sony won't block used games with PS4.......but on top of that, they leave there games REGION FREE, meaning we have even more purchasing options, in getting imports either not available to us, and/or for a cheaper price.
Sorry, but facts are facts, Sony is not blocking used games, & they have supported region free gaming for PSP, Vita & PS3 & I see no reason that PS4 won't continue that awesome trend.
